The 7 commandments in business insurance

• DO NOT ignore risks
   
• DO NOT gamble that the risks you have identified will not happen to you.
   
• DO NOT under-insure so as to “save” premium;
   
• DO NOT leave your cover outdated whilst your business changes from day to day;
   
• DO NOT choose the insurance based on premium only without understanding what actually is being covered or how good is the cover
   
• DO NOT ignore your insurance documents.  Reading them only when there is a claim is a bit too late
   
• DO NOT rely totally on your insurance for protection.  You must take effective measures to minimize the risk
